Hello, my name is Charlie. I've been a "ham" for about ten years now and certainly have enjoyed the hobby so far. My other hobby is fishing, mostly for Bass. I have fished in lots of Bass Tournaments over the years, with very mixed results. I really enjoy competitive fishing, but to be honest, I'm glad I don't do it for a living.

I've been involved with The Internet Radio Linking Project for several years now, and I have node number 3890 in my home here in Huntsville, Alabama, which was the first in Alabama. I enjoy contacting fellow Hams on just about all the Ham bands in the voice windows, both sideband and AM.

I'm also involved with The Huntsville Hamfest Association, and would like to invite everyone to our Hamfest, which is the largest one in Alabama, held the third weekend in August every year. I'm retired from PPG Industries, with almost thirty years of service, where I was involved in the production of aircraft windshields of all kinds.
