I passed the Novice for Christmas of 1969 and ticket arrived in the spring of 1970, licensed as WN9EMO. Upgraded to WB9EMO in January of 1971. Had that call till 1987 when upgraded from Advanced and became NU9U; changed to W9RWS in 1996.

Active on several bands and various modes including SSTV, FSTV, and AM. Rigs range in age from boatanchor AM to Flex 1500.

Located south of Fort Atkinson, WI in Grid EN52ov. Jefferson County is located in southern Wisconsin, about halfway between Madison and Milwaukee..
