About Theodore Roosevelt McElroy

    Ted McElroy was highly proficient at both American and International Morse
    code. Later, he began to manufacture straight keys and semi-automatic bugs.
    Many of his designs feature the signature "teardrop" shaped base, shown
    in the 1930 era bug below.
