Robert C. Archambault, 71, of Buchanan, MI, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN.
He was born April 7, 1948 to the late Cletus “Bob” and Helen Archambault in South Bend, IN. On June 30, 1990, Robert married Karen Schantz in Bristol, IN. He retired from Bendix in 1985 after 19 ˝ years. Robert enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan and spending winters in Florida. He loved Panama City. Robert’s passion with ham radio started when he was 7 years old and it never ended; his call name was K8ATV. He aced his quiz to earn his ham radio advanced license.
Robert is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Margaret Archambault of Louisville, KY; son, Robert C. (Jennifer) Archambault Jr. of Louisville, KY; stepson, Jeff (Natalie) Schantz of Crown Point, IN; brothers, James (Linda) Archambault, Cletus “Archie” (Karen) Archambault both of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Allison Spivey, Avery Archambault, and Amelia Archambault.
Cremation has taken place.
