• I wanted to let you know that Joe Medsker K8LKC from 3 Rivers, MI, died on 11 Jan 2016. Joe was a good friend for 20 years and one of my cw buddies. Joe's roots were in am. He was an engineer at a Michigan station and was responsible for keeping the first shipped RCA ampl-iphase transmitter up and running. He loved my old Gates and helped me a lot. Though not a net regular Joe would check in from time to time on his Icom rig.
