So did you ever want to be a disc jockey? I did. top 40 yea cool. So while I was playing with CB radio I also built quite a few 'pirate radio' transmitters. Only later did I make an antenna efficient enough to work. Then around when high school was ending I got my novice license. 1976. Then the tech class. In 1980 I went and got the FCC 1st phone license and got out! of the computer room and went into commercial broadcasting. FM100, WCEV.
I then went to work for Tripplite in 1989. The backup computer power supply and switching power supply lab.
