WA8ZXZ ⇰ Mr. Archie McClurken, age 81 of Grandville, passed away Monday, October 18, 1999 after a short battle with Leukemia. He was a HAM radio operator for 30 years, a veteran of World War II, and a long time employee of Van Ess-Subsurface Company.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Thelma; his children, Ken and Rosemary McClurken, Harry Ed WD8MWR and Carol McClurken, Phillip and Marilyn McClurken, Phyllis and Tom Gaastra, Carol and Robert Howland; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; special niece Mrs. Henry Jenny Wynsma; one niece and several nephews.
